Nope - Trofeo's are WAAYY faster. We were seeing +10km/hr faster in some corners.

GAZZ - for as good a reference as I can give - the time ran at Phillip Island on the Trofeo R was pretty much the same as my old R34's time there. I took that over to W.A. once and we ran a 63 at Barbagallo long. So I reckon the GT4 on Trofeo's should be pretty close to that.

Not sure what times your Cayman S does there?

63 long is a really good time.
The S did a 66.4 long, which is still the Porsche class A record from 2013.
One other GT4s' ran a 70 long, but were not driven to 100%.

One of my good mates who I used to do the Dutton Rallies with +10 years ago has just started doing Porsche W.A. days in his 964 RSR hotrod (Blaise Paris). He's the reason the R34 came west as we used to run in his EVO over there and he in my R34 in Vic but he was between cars one year.

Was speaking to Blaise before (we're going to Rennsport next week together) and he reminded me it was bucketing down at Barbs with my car - we ran the 63 in his EVO the year later. But he says my thing should have been about that time as well. We did run it at Collie at Duttons - did a 49.1 back then. I think you guys were there on the weekend? I think Blaise said he ran a 50.1 on the weekend in his 964 and a 65 at Barbs the other day so that sounds about right.

This is Blaise's current little bus.

^^^ enjoyed his build thread over on PF. Snowman are you IMOA or is that another bloke? Can't keep up with the sapphire GT4s haha (lovely colour btw).

Interesting to hear that the cup 2s aren't up to scratch on these things. I run A050 soft front medium rear on my GT3 and would never go backwards now as they're bliss, but I thought the Cup 2 was basically an R-comp in its own right.

Hoping these GT4s drop a bit in the years to come so maybe I can hop into one. Won't hold my breath though!!

No I'm Snowman over there too

I'm mostly in the Motorsport section on PF though. But Blaise has always built fantastic cars.

Default Agate grey available

Hi guys,

Was out at Rennsport on Sunday and my dealer mentioned he had an Agate grey GT4 with sofas that a customer had passed on. Basic spec and ready to go.

If there is any interest PM me and I will pass on his contact details.

cheers,
Noel

Was also at Rennsport and my dealer said he has a Guards Red with Clubsport (carbon seats, half cage) and a few other small things - due in this week a customer canceled for $227K drive away.

I didn't ask him but it's a low spec car & brand new so it should be RRP + options & standard dealer delivery.

Which dealers?

I am getting a price to trade in my yet undelivered GTS on a GT4 at the moment.

Why would you need a trade price on an undelivered GTS? Would have thought best for everyone if you just didn't take delivery.

It is on the water to me now and is a high spec custom order.

Since I posted above they have given me a trade in price and it is too far below my contract price and with no discount on a new car I can't afford it.
