I also tracked at Laguna on Sat but had no problems with sound as a result of the technology Ed mentioned in his post above. BTW, no turn-away pipes required for a GT4. Couple of options exist depending on your level of technical acumen/manual dexterity/available time. PM me for details. Cheers.

Out of curiosity, how does is work at Laguna Seca... If you violate the sound level are you done for the day, or do they give you a warning and let you back out?

It can depend on organization. You will get black flagged if you blow sound during your session, which will end your session. They will also tell you what your db level was. If you do it again during your next session, you are done for the day. (for PCA, you are out on your 3rd strike rather than 2nd). With SpeedSF, if you go over 100db you're done for the day.
