Owner's Manual - Dynamic Engine Mounts

Drifting
This electronically controlled system not only minimizes the oscillations and vibrations of the entire drivetrain, particularly the engine, it also adapts its damping force and stiffness to driving style and road surface conditions. In this way, it is possible to exploit the benefits of both a hard and a soft engine mounting arrangement.
Handling is perceptibly more stable and precise under load change conditions and in fast corners. At the same time, the vertical oscillations of the engine that occur under full-load acceleration are reduced. The results are greater and more uniform drive force at the rear axle, increased traction and better acceleration. Whenever a less assertive driving style is adopted, the dynamic transmission mounts automatically soften to enhance comfort.

Ok, someone with a delivered GT4 without chrono sport package needs to visually confirm if the dynamic transmission mount are included on base build.

I not only don't want to throw another $2K onto my build, I actively dislike that chrono on the dash. If it didn't have that huge second hand with the cheap-looking movement, I'd consider it, but if I had to choose between a cleaner (to me) dash without Sport Chrono or getting dynamic mounts....
Emailed PCNA about this since they responded helpfully to my question about the oil capacity discrepancy, but I agree that visual confirmation from a built car would be even better.

Ok, this is absurd. Page 47 also mentions the mounts as included with Sport Chrono, but the very next section on Page 49 that discusses GT4 chassis characteristics claims "standard assignment of the active transmission mounts". That same page lists them as a feature along with other known standard features, wherein PCCB is also listed but explicitly called out as optional, unlike the dynamic mounts. Come on Porsche!!

EDIT: I really wish this topic would die.

I believe all GT4's come standard with the dynamic transmission mounts.
The Sports Chrono package does not state anything about them.
http://www.porsche.com/usa/models/ca...hrono-package/
And the dynamic transmission mount page says nothing about being part of a Sports chrono package.

I think we're good to go.

that change viscosity as controlled with electrical signals from a control unit.
The standard mounts are simple hydraulic fluid mounts that look not all that much different from the outside but have no wiring attached.

Mine is a no-clock GT4 and it has 981 375 059 80. Note the 80 on the end, which is a motorsport revision of the mount. There is only one shown in the PET, so it ought to be the same regardless. Not crawling under right now to check the wires ...

Burning Brakes
And proof of the above so we can finally close/end/lock this thread/debate!
From my GT4 that does not have Sports Chrono:
ALL GT4's COME WITH DYNAMIC MOUNTS!
The manuals are wrong and are reused by Porsche from other models.
