The concentric discs that look like hockey pucks stacked on larger pucks. On either side of the transmission casing.

How is it fixed at the front? Fixed front and dynamic at the rear?

I think that's correct, yes. These dynamic mounts are on the engine for the 911, presumably because in that car the engine rather than the trans is farther rearward, and that's where you want more control over any driveline oscillations since they would be most noticeable.

Circles are correct those are the dynamic transmission mounts(and yes on a 911 they are the dynamic engine mounts)

Regular mounts (not variable). On both the 981 and 991, the dynamic mounts are only on the most rearward position (motor on 991 and gearbox on 981), where I would guess they make the most difference...

Checked the US Configurator. It shows the Sports Chrono "package" as being standard so I would assume dynamic engine mounts are also standard. I guess they used the same term " "Sports Chrono" that other P-cars have as a specific option (clock / mounts / addl firmer PASM setting / hotter shifting). But, in the case of the GT4 it excludes the clock but does include the mounts.

One more piece of evidence. This is Porsche's press release on the GT4 that mentions the dynamic mounts, with no qualifiers like "available" or "optional". Instead, there's an "always": http://newsroom.porsche.com/en/produ...-gt4-2015.html

Wow this is still being debated? It was answered several times back on page 1.

GT4 has dynamic transmission mounts standard. EOD , lock thread.

Got my long form build sheet today and I can 100% confirm that dynamic transmission mounts are include in the base build without the sport chrono package.

Unfortunately their manual needs work. I found several typos, formatting errors, and what I believe are omissions, etc. with just a quick skim

So how do you set the Dynamic engine mounts to stiff? By pressing the PASM stiff setting, or by pressing the Sport button? On the '14 CS by pressing the Sport+ button you stiffen them up. What is the equivalent on the GT4?

If anything it would be the PASM button, but definitely not the Sport button, which on this car only controls auto-blip. However, I seem to remember somebody in a video or article saying that the transmission mounts stiffen up automatically when they detect a more aggressive driving style. I remember reading that about some Porsche, I just can't remember if it was the GT4. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

On the Boxster Spyder (which does not have PASM) they have 3 modes, depending on if you put the car in normal, sport or sport plus.
