Default Post your gt4 configuration

I just got the call that i am getting one. I am curious to see what options you guys are building your gt4 with? I am also trying to get them to throw lwb in for dealer cost and they can install later for me when they become available. I Have sport buckets in my r and I am having a hard time dealing with not having them!

My build -- I've managed not to change it for a couple of months now, so I'm pretty sure this is what I'll end up ordering.

CWM, silver wheels, black/red leather, black anodized brushed aluminum, 18 way sport plus, SC, NAV, HD and Sat radio, yada yada yada. July build. Other than color choices the builds aren't that interesting.

Like this:

DBM
Yellow stitching
Yellow belts
Silver uprights
Silver wheels
Steering case in leather
PCM/ nav
LWBs
PCCBs

I've been content with the above for more than a week now so it's likely I'm sticking with this build. My order locks mid June so there's still time for some tweaks.

Really like this. If I went DBM, the OCD in me didn't like the red calipers with yellow interior bits, but I don't really want ceramics. So I changed color schemes.

I'm still sort of going back and forth on the uprights on my DBM with silver wheels build. For now, having already spent way too much time in the 3D configurator panning and zooming around, I've settled on black because it should match the black headlamps in the front, accenting the wing itself over its supports while also downplaying the wing aspect of the car overall (this will be an all-purpose car, not track-only) , and prevent a silver finish mismatch between the uprights and the wheels. But I have to admit I do like the contrast between silver and blue in general, so I'm curious what's leading you to silver rather than black.

Fyi, bi-xenons in black is standard. The option is to add PDLS. If you don't care about the PDLS features (plus the undocumented difference of PDLS bulbs apparently being brighter), you can leave that option off your build.

Wow, yes indeed! For the Door Panel in Leather/Alcantara option, fyi the areas highlighted in green is all you'll be adding:

Two of those areas will only be visible when the door is open (otherwise facing the dash/doorjamb) and the other seems a bit too tiny for me to worry about. Still slightly tempted by steering column casing in leather, though....

I think the silver uprights compliment the silver wheels perfectly and I can always have them anodized another color. I really haven't been hung up on how they would match witht the headlights. I've also considered the silver will add a more refined tone to the wing than the dark 'racy' look of the black. it's going to be tough to understate that wing! I say dress it up with DBM.
