For what it is worth at this point, I think I purchased the car you speak of. The car I purchased was at the same dealer (Colorado Springs), the same MSRP (106875), yellow, and slightly higher miles. I assume the thread originator no longer his the VIN of the vehicle?

I am interested to see what you paid. I sold mine, same build, 9960 miles, with CPO private party, for $85,500 last spring.

Congrats on the purchase!!!!
It's academic, but my only knock on Porsche CS, is their pricing is too high... and for some strange reason, they get buyers :-)
My Irish Green is from there... as well...

Pricing at Porsche Colorado Springs is STUPID.
I offered MSRP on a GT3 seems like a year ago when they wanted $20k over. Today the car is STILL THERE LOL and there are asking $20k BELOW MSRP. Porsche CS can SUCK IT! Also that CPO for $6k, RIP OFF!!!!

My guess is that car needed $X,XXX to qualify for CPO. Tires, brakes, and the like.

There is a thread I started dedicated to the question: whether to CPO or not.
https://rennlist.com/forums/gt4/1172...on-or-not.html
Entry 13 shows the exact cost breakdown for me. Porsche Colorado Springs indicated that the CPO itself would cost around $2400.
Fortunately, I did not need to replace the tires, and the PCCB rotors also passed.
My perception is that there are a lot of variations from Porsche dealer to Porsche dealer WRT costs, technical advice, and others. In my opinion, that hurts the brand.

Yes, I purchased the car, paying extra for the CPO certification. The tentative cost breakdown for CPO is as follows:
$ 2390 warranty
$ 1100 inspection
$ 250 density check ceramic rotors
$ 300 likely brake fluid flush
$ 1800 4 year maintenance
---------
$ 5840 total, subject to additional findings
Fortunately, the tires just meet spec. God help me if the rotors don't meet spec. Battery is not OEM; I've heard that an OEM battery is required for CPO.
Even this sum is still worth the peace of mind. I suspect a busted 3rd gear would cost more than this sum to fix. Kind of crazy, huh?
