Looking forward to seeing some videos and hearing the new engine. There is already a video of the Spyder at FOS on the 718 forum. Agree the rear end is growing on me. That new wing is sick.

Any videos? I like the new wing a lot. Provided there is no appreciable negative effects, I'd love to put salter or bbi uprights

Unpopular opinion #2 : old *** looks ok with a red car but the lights are too red, too large et too drop-like with other exterior colors.

But neither opinion counts when you are at the wheel anyway!

The looks are growing on me, specially in some colors like RY......ohh if we could get some special colors.

What I'm waiting to hear is how they are going to explain the purpose of the ram air scoops on the GT4. IIRC correctly on the 981 AP mentioned they were an integral part for the slightly higher hp on the GT4 versus the Spyder; and now on the 718 both are rated the same - with and without scoops.

Probably because the HP rating is for the engine (stationary) and is not tested on a car moving at speed.......which would create some ram air effect.

I guess they could always say that the engine was good for 430ps in the GT4 but that they downgraded it to 420ps (ie if they really need to find a way to justify their previous marketing blah-blah... )
