Should I Sell My GT4 And Get A GT3 or GT3 RS?

Is that a nitrous tank bolted to your rear wing?
I am not really a 911 fan, but the GT3RS is beyond awesome. Spent some time in one on track and I could easily ignore I am a mid engine snob when it comes to performance cars. The MAc is cool but will drop like a rock in value. I would do it in a second if the delta wasn't too much for you. Nice GT4 BTW...

Haha yeah, the GT4 motor loves that nitrous hit
I wouldn't even consider selling it normally, but then there are cars like this floating around that make me second guess my decision to keep it.

My other car is a heavily tweaked BMW M4 which I am still nuts about. I didn't imagine that it would compliment the GT4 as much as I feel it does. My original plan was to sell the M4 and replace it with a 991.1 GT3 now that the engine warranty is not an issue but I keep putting it off every time I drive the M4, which by the way would give any 991 GT3 fits at any track and on the highway would put bus lengths on any GT3.

Thanks for posting this as I always wondered what the differential would be between a 991 GT3 and GT4 at a track I've driven. I would imagine this would be a smaller difference at Lime Rock.

Must be tweaked beyond what most are tweaked to, given the huge delta between even a M4 GTS and a regular GT3 (not RS) on the 'Ring.

I owned an M4 and my GT4 is faster through the twisties with the M4 being comparable on a highway. The M4 would need meaningful mods to keep up with a 991 GT3 in any measure (track or highway) based on my experience.

i had a Gt4 and traded to a GT3 touring. could not be happier.
i think you should look at this route as the GT3 is amazing. and a plane jane 911 to the lay person out there its great for mostly street duty and some track duty.

Does the GT3 Touring have back seats?
If I were to change gears and go with a 911 Turbo to be more family friendly, what year model should I consider looking for? I think 2014 was the last big update? Should I consider something older to get more of the raw GT feel in a Turbo model?
