Default For those running GT3 exhaust conversions

Interested to understand which tips you’re using. Just sourced a 991.1 muffler. Understand tips will be a bit short for the GT4. Was looking at Sharkwerkes 100mm tips but. It sure if they ever fit within the GT4 valence. What are you guys using ?

I have the Sharkwerks but you need to talk to them for a longer version...mine are exactly 2" longer than the ones for the 991 GT3

Single wall, 100 mm...same as the ones for the GT3 but longer. They did those as a special request.....was lucky they were producing tips at that time.

Looks awesome so a full 2” longer than their 991 100mm tips? Or 2” longer than the 997 tips?

would you be able to record some audio/video of what the gT3 center exhaust sounds like. I have ordered some dundon headers and have a 991.2 center exhaust available to me, strongly considering over axle bypass from dundon.

Yes...2" longer than 991 tips...you could do 1.5" also and they would be a bit more flush.

These are not the best videos (or track) but will give you an idea....it's loud and mean. Almost Cup car sound....I love it!
BTW...mine is without the valves...so it's direct to the lower chamber as used on Cup cars.

Thoughts in additional interior vibration given that this is directly mounted to transmission?

Interior vibration is not bad but some people also equates it exhaust drone in the low RPM range.. To be clear, vibration you will be feeling is not that of a chassis shaking from high horsepower motor or stiff motor mounts. Best way to describe it is more "feel" both in the steering wheel (you can feel some exhaust vibration) and the cabin noise.. Also, you may get a bit of rattling in the rear plastic trim panels if you don't put them back in snugly..
