Thoughts on Tinted / GTS Tail Lights?
Have had these sitting in the garage for a couple of months. Finally had a chance to put them in. Had been on the fence as to whether or not I wanted to make the change but I have always thought the all red 981 tails were somewhat less than flattering to the lines of the GT4. I think these offer just enough deviation in color to offer some contrast without looking out of place. Thoughts?

I put the GTS tail lights on my modified 14 Cayman S. Both have now cracked about one inch below the fin, running the entire length. Don't know what caused that, but they are holding water and I csn't get them dry. Likely going to replace them before DE season starts in April.

So you have time to install the tail lights but didn't pull rest of the trim panels to access the engine cover for the DMS intake runner install? BTW, I dig the GTS tail lights on white..

I have been hesitant on mine, I think they fit well with dark coloured cars and on light colours it depends much on the combo look of the car.
I like it on yours in white with black wheels and black stripes, also nice on Phil's blue car, but still not convinced on mine which is Racing Yellow with "GT3 RS 4.0 style" stripes.
At the end, it's really a matter of taste and combo.

Some cars look good with tinted tails, others do not. Looks great on yours!
I prefer the bright red lights on my S since it has red brakes. But with no other red on your car, the tint compliments the theme nicely.
But either way, I really like the tinted lights like these. Still red and you can still see the brake lights. Nothing like the people who black out their lights...
I'm just saying... If you have blacked out lights and get rear ended, the person who hit you can say your brakes were too dark and the cop will write you the ticket.
