Oh sure, be happy about this NOW. But wait till 40 years from now when your non-numbers-matching GT4 can never make it to the lawn at Pebble. Don't come crying to us then...

Agreed. On a 2016 build this makes it worth more, not less, in my book.

I think you'll be fine. Maybe the SA didn't know (truthfully). I think that most of these will have the transmissions serviced at some point and I'd rather have it taken care of prior to my ownership.
