Not to high jack, but if anyone on the east coast (I split time between South FL and the DC area) is planning to trade their GT4 in PM me first please. I'm selling my 997.2 C4S launch car and looking to move into a nice GT4.

As much as I like to help dealers make gobs of money, I'd rather help a forum member get more out of their sale and a better deal on my end too, win/win.

Post up a WTB thread and I bet you find a car.

From personal experience, I would not buy or consign there, too much risk.

I just got an unsolicited offer from my dealer to trade in my GT4 towards a 718 GTS (lol). The trade in amount on my ~$95k msrp GT4 (30k miles, XPEL, Modesta, brand new Cup2s, handwashed weekly, etc) was only $64k. Mind you this is in California, where trade in value doesn't help towards taxes paid, so I'm not sure why anyone would consider that deal.

Nobody would except the dealer that suckered someone into doing that.

Just got a similar unsolicited offer from my dealer offering $46 K for my 2016 CGTS ( original MSRP $90 K ) towards a trade on a 718 GTS.

About 2 months ago I brought the car in and was thinking of trading it in for a GT4 and after inspecting my car they offer me $68.5 K - car had about 17k miles on it.

Crazy to see this thread still going: we still have the car. I actually called a couple of places today and got ranges from 80-84k. Just FYI. This is a great car and I am having trouble letting go.

This must be the new dealer network gimmick. I received a similar unsolicited offer from one of the local dealers on my 958 CTT that was less than 1/6th MSRP. I've maintained the car pristinely and it drives great and still looks very good. I'd rather just keep driving it until it makes no sense to maintain it.

I picked up my GT4 today from my dealer after getting the transmission replaced. I was looking around at some other cars, so I asked for an offer on my GT4. They appraised it and offered me $82,000.

I has a $97k sticker with 6,000 miles on it.

I just thought I would post that as a point of reference.
