- tighten the bolts from the middle runner first and work your way out to the ends... distributes torque more evenly

What did you torque these guys down to? Seemed like its pretty low based on how easily they came loose.

Didn't use a torque wrench.. Just hand tighten with a 3/8" ratchet..If I had to guess based on the size of the bolts, no more than 20 ft/lbs..

@sgogt The placement/position of the actuator on the IPD plenum is correct.

981 GT4 complete system - done
981S/GTS, 991S/GTS complete system by end of Q119
987.2 complete system by end of Q219
987.1 complete system by end of Q319
718 GT4 is next after that, but all of those parts are essentially done, just have to test.
I'm very excited to hear about your 987.2 application

Runners are in.

Uploading the refreshed tune as I type this and then it’s time for a test drive!

UPDATE: Big BIG difference with these runners versus the cat with just the Dundon headers, IPD and throttle body. The pull north of 6k is night and day. Responsiveness across the rev range seems improved as well. Didn’t put too many miles on it as I still have the GT3 muffler conversion to do and the tune was set up to factor that in. Very happy. Install was straightforward so long as you take your time and think thru what you’re doing.

@SGOGT4 nice work on the install and Welcome to the club Please post pics of your GT3 exhaust install when you are done. Love to see the pipes with hi-flow cats.

@Anu2g whats your take on stock vs DMS tuned after driving my car today?

To avoid a divorce, I am thinking the next upgrade should be shorter gearing. Hoping there’s a 2nd thru 5th option and keeping 6th as is for highway cruising.

Just waiting on some new flanges and straps and will be tackling that next step.

@benben01 major difference; I found the response more linear. It's exponentially amplified by the fact that my GT4 is not broken in yet, lol, so I'm going from pampering my stock engine, to WOT all the way to redline in your DMS-tuned car. So, thanks for that! I'm pretty curious to hear how it sounds with cats. For my tastes, I'd prefer a few dB less volume, but I loved it overall.

Cats will kill a bit more volume and you can run one of our Quiet Mufflers as well to kill a few more. The customer who's car was one of the test cars did this...
