Cats will kill a bit more volume and you can run one of our Quiet Mufflers as well to kill a few more. The customer who's car was one of the test cars did this...
Where would you expect the Cats + Quiet to be volume-wise...somewhere between the stock headers/cats/PSE and DMS/GT3 muffler?

Yes, this is exactly right. So Ben's is catless and GT3 Muffler, so at the louder end of the spectrum. With Cats and a Quiet muffler will be definitely toned down and just a bit more than stock headers/PSE.

I just installed the full meal deal, Headers, catted overaxle pipes, quiet lifetime muffler, Intake runners, plenum, throttle body and a tune. I have not had an opportunity to wind it out in third gear yet (don't really want to get hauled to jail) but the low rpm torque bump i very noticeable as is the top end power pulling to redline (in second) on the autocross course it was a stark difference.

I know this is an old thread now but has anybody done this set up to a Spyder yet? I have the Dundon race headers and tune on the car now and top down it sounds insane! Played with a GT3RS last night and realized I want more power. Im thinking titanium GT3 muffler for weight loss and the Dundon goodies along with the IPD plenum and TB. Drove a couple GT4s yesterday and I prefer the Spyder. Cant wait to drive the new 718 Spyder as the 981 needs the tighter suspension.

just got a Spyder settled today. Find yourself a 991.2 GT3/RS muffler including tips and we can do the intake runners, GT3 muffler adapter and free tune upgrade and have you pulling!

for suspension we can get that 981 Spyder dialed if you like!

Still loving the D3 setup with 30k miles on the car my mechanic who did the 30k maintenance agrees that the car is healthy and a hoot to drive

Any idea what the runners would do to a car with Kline sport headers and a soul rear valved section? Already have the plenum, throttle body etc. wondering if the runners are worth it when used in conjunction with another company’s exhaust. I guess it also depends on the exhaust. Wish I had found this thread before I started modding!

If you search the GT4 forum, Dundon did a run with another company’s headers. Guess Soul or Cargraphic. Not quite the same result but it showed a gain up top too.

The intake runners extend and pull up the torque curve even on a stock car. When used with a good header design it all works better, but the intake runners make a big difference from 5500-7800 all on their own. We had a customer do them on a stock exhaust car and still saw 30+ whp gains peak. and 50whp max...

wonder what it would do with everything except the Gt3 muffler. I hear the GT3 conversion drones under 2500rpms. Also hear the PSE cant breath as well as the GT3 muffler and the heat builds up. No bueno for the motor. I love the PSE sound with headers alone and really dont want to mess with that but would like to open up the top end. Only thing interesting to me about the GT3 conversion would be doing the titanium version and loosing the weight hanging behind that axel.

I tried one out for a couple weeks and the drone for me was between 1500–3000 RPM (which, being the average engine speed at cruising, isn't the greatest). If I modulated the throttle position at or below 20% it wouldn't be as severe, but at road speed that's not really possible; and if I kept it above 3000 RPM the drone was non existent, but that's not really sustainable in the long run. Ended up swapping the PSE back in and am planning on keeping the GT3 exhaust around for track days, but unfortunately it just wasn't my cup of tea for daily use.
