GROUP BUY: TrackSpec Seat Recliner Brackets
For those with the carbon buckets there's a group buy going on for the TrackSpec brackets. Wanted to let the crew here know in case there were interested parties.

I have these, as well as the AQM versions. I think most people will like these more bc of ease of installation.

I also have both. At a glance the AQM seems superior as it is the OEM design but lengthened. It's a simple bar, and it looks factory. But they don't provide a bushing for some reason (would have been easy to make, for the price they are asking) so the install is not just unbolt OEM and install AQM. You have to take care to get it right. Still, it's fit for purpose.
The TS, although it clearly requires more unit cost to manufacture, and is clearly not OEM-like, is the same price and is easy to install correctly.
As to function, the TS inclines the seat less than the AQM. I think someone measured the angles, if you can find that post. For street use, I personally find the inclination of the AQM too much. It puts pressure on the thighs and after about 30 minutes I also find myself annoyed from holding my neck up. I haven't used either with helmet and HANS, but clearly the AQM must give more clearance. So for track duty, the AQM may be better. If I find I have a problem with that, I'll just remove the headrest pad -- it's velcro'd on.
With my AQM install, the seat would not bottom evenly. One side touches the bottom limit before the other (ie, left leg vs right leg, not driver vs passenger seat) and at the bottom position it is somewhat crooked. Not enough to notice if you just sat in it, but it annoys me to know it is there. The 2 bars are clearly identical and there isn't excessive slop in the install, so I don't know what could cause this.
