Not with a DeMan Motorsport product, our testing process is as tough as they get, our products are the finest motorsport pieces available and our success with this development over 3 years has proven the design. Cheers!
I don't doubt that your motor is solid, my concern would be with the rest of the drivetrain which was designed for a less powerful motor.

What cylinder coating is used to replace the alusil coating on the 9a1?

It is coated though right? Lol sorry Im only familiar with two stroke kart racing engines. They can be coated/uncoated.

Can this also work for a 997 9A1?
Can the gearbox and drivetrain handle this upgrade on a 997 C4S?

Yes, any 9A1 3.8L engine is the starting point. I think the drivetrain would hold up just fine.

Will stock cats and headers choke the exhaust component too much? We know that the intake was restricted and the GT3 RS intake fixes that.

Trying to stay legal in CA. Do the o2 sensors actually read our a passing value or are the cels just switched off?

Exciting idea, particularly with the only tiny increase of torque in the 718 GT4CS announced today.

Amazing work and results! Would this upgrade also count as a rerfresh for a tired 3.8 9A1 engine or would that be extra? I wonder how a 981 Boxster S would feel with this engine in it.
