Why did the gains around 3500-4k from the first chart seem to disappear in the following charts? Is it because the first is stock vs header/tune/runner, while the following charts are header/tune vs header/tune/runner?
First graph is the Full Dundon Kit (D3) vs stock (updated the post to make that more apparent)

Graphs 2-4 are D3 (Intake, Headers, Tune) compared to D2 (Headers, Tune). Just various RPM demonstrating the gains...

Sorry for the confusion,

Any plans to test this with the IDP/GT3 TB or just a GT3 TB?
Some of us already have that mod.
I know you mentioned that the TB is not a restriction up to 400 Hp but with these you are pretty close to that mark.....

We have tested it with the Carrera S plenum and Throttle body, no need for it. Meaning we looked at the pressure drop in the manifold with both and the difference was 0.04psi or 0.2% When I say above 400whp I mean way way above...

Jamie, can you shed any light on why there's such a drop in torque around 6300 and 7300 rpms in stock form?

It’s from a number of factors, some of the same things that cause the troughs we used to get the new peaks, so i’ll be a little coy and vague on any more specifics...

Thanks for the clarification. Have you done any testing with your catted headers? Just curious for those of us still wanting/needing cats.

Our catted system is moving from prototype to production. In our testing having the cats on the over axle pipes didn’t change the race headers performance. The PSE is replaced with over axle pipes, cats and a Lifetime GT3 center muffler.

As soon as it’s ready for production i’ll start another thread!

Thanks....so basically we go back to stock TB and plenum. Was thinking that maybe keeping the GT3 TB would help a little bit as it did show a bit of top end gains on our dyno tests.

Just put this on the Xmas wish list hoping Mrs. Claus will obliged.. If not, I am still getting it Question of curiosity for you Jamie.. Can we see a side by side dyno comp with a stock GT3? I would imagine the pull in the upper revs will be very similar for those who are scratching their bum wondering....

You can keep the parts you've got. The 981 GT4 is a little sensitive to TB modeled air flow errors with the GT3 TB on it. That said you can tune around it... The GT3 TB doesn't hurt anything, just isn't necessary for the gains.

If you go over to Dundon's site and look at the GT3 stock vs. Headers and compare the stock GT3 to the above D3 it is indead interesting.
