WTB-GT4 all season tires or snows
I know its a long shot but I've decided that I really want to drive my GT4 during the Winter months and get my moneys worth. Not sure if I'll be driving if there's actual snow on the ground , more likely when the roads are clear and dry. I want to limit the road salt exposure even though I have access to a climate controlled garage with a wash bay to rinse it off after a drive.
So if you have proper 20 inch AS tires or a Snow wheel/Tire setup let me know.
Thanks !
Mike

Can't help you on your search but I am in the same boat as you. Thinking of driving my GT4 in the winter in Toronto. I'm going to downsize to a 19" rim and am thinking either OZ Leggera or OZ Formula from Tire Rack.

Trouble is Tire rack may not have tires to go with them...

They have 20in snows and All Season's but I didn't check for 19in size, but having been to Toronto and Montreal during the dead of Winter...oh good Lord you guys have serious potholes ..my Audi friends are always eating up subframe bushings and essentially their entire cars.

I have Michelin Aplins on a set of OEM wheels for the winter. 245/35R20 (F) and 295/30R20 (R), N0 spec. Worked great last winter for me. Just put those back on last weekend actually.

Looks like I'm going with the same tires. I think I'd rather drive the GT4 occasionally during the Winter and give it some exercise than let it sit doing nothing for 4-5 months .

Are you using OEM GT4 wheels?

Yes. My car has the PCCBs so as far as I understand it there are no 19" wheel options anyway (which is a pity because for track use I'd love to follow others' example and drop to 19's and then size up the width on the front to get a bit more tire there...sadly no can do apparently...but I digress )

Going with the OEM wheels . I'm very fortunate to live in a part of NY's Hudson Valley where our local roads are truly excellent, even in the Winter . Even the roads around Albany are pretty decent.

What are people's impressions of the OZ Leggera wheels available from Tire Rack for a 2016 GT4 with PCCB? (See https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/resu...package=false) My intended use is spirited street driving and perhaps AX.
I live in Denver and like to drive the car at least weekly during winter, but only on snow-free roads. I currently have Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires on my car, and they should not be driven below 45 degrees F (according to Porsche) or 40 degrees F (according to Michelin). I would try to find a less radical summer tire which I could use below 40 degrees F and possibly for AX in the cooler months. Here, I'm assuming that the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires would not heat up and stick well in the cooler months (even with temps above 40 degrees) during AX.
Your feedback is appreciated.

FWIW, PS4S in the winter:
I'm running Potenza RE980 AS...happy with them for some spirited driving in the dry since August in MD, but more so in the wet, on 20", due to PCCBs.
