Get a Simpson Hybrid if you stay with OEM seats. Gloves whatever fits you best, I have relatively sensible priced Alpine Star and white like them.

Congrats on the purchase! Based on the numbers (351whp on the Mustang dyno) at a 12.5 difference compared to a Dynojet, that would put you at just over 400whp on a Dynojet. Pretty good numbers (especially if they were catted headers)-curious to see the difference with the Dundon Race headers and their tune.

Following up to see if you have gotten a chance to get any dyno results with the Dundon headers?

I have the Dundon headers and their tune on the car, it feels noticeably more powerful. I need to find a shop in LA and get it on the dyno.

looking forward to seeing the results. A different dyno may not read the same.

Can the Dundon's pass a smog test in LA? Or do you have to un-install then for the inspection?

Here is a short video driving through the Malibu tunnels with my Dundon headers now on the car. I have the exhaust valves open and made a few high RPM pulls : ) When the exhaust valves are closed and under 3500 RPM's, it sounds as loud as the stock manifolds.

WARNING: Don't have your volume maxed out while listening and don't watch if you don't have $4k to spend on headers haha

I live a few blocks from Abbot Kinney in Venice. I have the GT4 and Audi Q5, with the GT4 being my weekend car. I drive the Audi 70 miles a week, its such a waste of a nice car. On the weekends I drive the GT4 or take my beach cruiser everywhere. I love that near the beach, everything you want is reachable on foot or bike

Are most of you running a Simpson Hybrid or Hans device with the four point harness? I spoke to the guys at Sube Motorsports and they said to use the 4 point harness with the OEM seat belt with a helmet, no hans/hybrid device. I'm going this weekend to buy a helmet, Sparco gloves, and shoes. Additionally, even though I have a full race-kit clear bra, is it recommended to cover the clear film in painters tape to help protect it and speed up the clean-up when getting back home?

You need head/neck protection more than you need additional glue holding you to the seat. The whipping action your head makes in any sort of collision is quite severe. It is that much worse wearing a weight on your head. Please go to YouTube and search for crash videos with and w/o a Hans. I use the Simpson Hybrid with OEM 3 pt belts with a G-lock on the belt and it works pretty well. I am comfortable with this set-up as far as safety goes. I might get harnesses, but if I do, it will be to dump the weight of the OEM seats (I have sport 2-ways). I used to know the numbers exactly, but my OEM seats weigh around 50 lb each. I believe we can easily save 30 lb per seat.

A clear bra should be enough unless you closely follow other cars driving off-line. Rubber marks come off easily with Mother's R3.
