Expected release of GT4?
Hey guys, new guy here. I've been debating on the Cayman GTS, but with the new GT4 coming... that looks pretty sweet. However, I have a few questions (I know a lot is speculation!).
1) Do you think this will be a limited production run, and if not, how well will it hold it's value? I ask this because if you look at a new 718, panamera, cayenne, etc. they all heavily depreciate the first year by like 20%. However, the GT series has never had that issue, and hold their MSRP very very well.
2) When is the expected release date? Mid 2019?
3) What price range are we looking at? I hear 90k for a base, which is close to a optioned GTS... but if it holds it value better then its the obvious choice.
Anyway, I'm new, so go easy on me. Looking for advice. Cheers.

Likely it will be at the LA Nov 30th or Geneva March 7th, with cars shipping to the US ~6 months later so expect them May-September 2019. This is why I'm looking for a GT3/GT4/Spyder to hold me over as I expect it to be announced at Geneva, then I won't be the first to receive it from my dealer. I hope I'm able to receive it by the end of the year though.

I leased a 911 S back in 2010 from my local dealer, could this help? Thats 8 years ago, and wasn't even a purchase. Havent had any contact with them since. What do you mean "If you haven't been on a list for a while"? As in previous cars? Is the GT4 already taking allocations?!

To iammacey's point, my local Pcar dealer had ONE (1) allocation for the GT2RS. Uno. And it was looooong sold before any civilian could ever hope to walk in and buy one. And even if that first guy bailed...they had a lengthy list of 'preferred' customers that got first-dibs on that allocation prior to anyone that would ever just walk into the dealership.
