Just take it easy entering and leaving the driveway. My splitter regularly drags on the driveway and the bottom has some scrapes but you can't see them.

I bought my CPO GT4 from an owner who had a steep driveway. The splitter is all crunchy and I couldn't stand it. I thought about plastidipping it to fill in the scratches but just gave in and got a new one from Suncoast with free shipping on a black Friday deal.

Anyway, I have a used one that will be available if you want to experiment with cutting off an inch or so along the bottom...

When the bottom gets rough just use some 800 grit sandpaper on it. I've done it several times and it smooths things out nicely......Phil

I replaced mine today. Easy job. Two torx screws... no other tools required. Just take those screws out and pull that bitch off. Starting at the corners help. New one pops on in place like a lego piece.

Suncoast Parts has raised their price on the spoiler lip since I replaced mine earlier this year.
Now up to $340 + shipping. I think I paid $290 at the time.

26k+ miles of wear and tear on the original lip. Time for new.

Obviously you ran over too many curbs too fast.
