anyway to remove the exhaust pops
have we found a way to program out the extra fuel that is being dumped to cause this? I don't know why we have to have this burble pop on decel with sport + on....none of my other porsches do this...why, porsche why.

It reduces burbles and pops to run in either normal or sport plus modes. Sport is the most over-fueled.

The GT4's overrun burbles are solely dependent on the architecture of the mufflers, there is nothing artificial happening such as a fuel dump, the Spyder may be different.
With conventional straight through race mufflers they aren't there, but with the PSE they are, and vary with temperature.

I also love the pops...on the GT4. I had a Boxster GTS loaner and I despised how artificial the overrun pops were. They sounded exactly the same each time with the same pattern and cadence. In fact, most all cars these days that have the programmed overrun sound this way.
Luckily the GT4's sounds natural and because of that I love the pops.
