We are having our 2nd Porsche Dyno Day on Saturday, June 30th. Please let me know if you would like to reserve a spot on the dyno day to test your car.

Come out and meet other Porsche owners, all are welcome. We will have food and drinks available to all. Dyno day starts at 8 AM and goes until 4 PM. We will be providing each participant with 3 pulls and we will include air/fuel with each run.

Our dyno has been calibrated specifically for Porsches and we are looking forward to a great turn out. Please feel free to PM me on here or send me an email at CPAISLEY@WORLD-MOTORSPORTS.com

What do you mean it’s been specifically calibrated for Porsche’s? How is a Porsche different from any other car on the Dyno?

We have weighed all the Porsches that come through here and we have also inputted all the actual aero calculations for each of the newer Porsches into the Dyno Computer. On a Mustang dyno it generalizes all those numbers but since we work on so many Porsches we have really fine tuned all the settings in our dyno to give a more exact representation of the cars performance on the dyno.

I think the Mustang dyno (I could be wrong) is the only dyno that has aero calculations and uses those numbers to provide resistance and simulate real world testing. The aero calculations that they use are from a database and are not all that current, we have Porsche cars all updates to the current year for our dyno. The Porsche is the only brand that we have done this with.

For every other car we put on our dyno we use the standard aero and weight calculations that Mustang provides. We are working on updating all the Lamborghini data but it is becoming hard to find the data for those cars. Obviously we can weigh the cars ourselves but the aero data we have seen for those cars is harder to pin down.
