Nope. I have not connected the charger even once since I got the battery in the car. In fact I don't even know how to do that lol.

My Spyder has been sitting for a month in the garage now and it's quite cold in Atlanta. Came back and fired it up - started right away. Tires have lost pressure but the battery has kept its charge! So far super impressed.

Just a update on the RS30 battery after I installed it on my Subaru 9/2018. The battery died in traffic and I had to get police to jump the car. I tried the restart feature but still no luck. I limped the car to a parking lot, uber’ed to autozone, got a new battery, installed it, and drove the car home

the battery is 2 years old and I do live in the South so it get pretty hot

just a heads up for anyone that owns this battery

I had a RS30 Antigravity in my GT4 for 3.5 years & never had an issue. I haven't driven my car much & always kept it on a Nocco lithium smart charger. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another & I'm interested in a group buy if it's going to happen.

I drive the car daily so I’d say I had 30,000 miles on the battery in a 2 year span

I dropped the $700 old battery off at autozone for a $22 refund

I recently installed mine without issue. It sat in a box for 6 months before I installed it. You can see my review: https://rennlist.com/forums/gt4/1211...l#post16889195

We appreciate you posting up...but honestly I am not aware that you ever even tried to contact us regarding the battery or it's warranty which we would be glad to help with. I also see you said you let Autozone have it? That battery is an older version but still has a 3 year direct replacement warranty and an additional 2 years of warranty after the 3 year period that is prorated. I'm sorry you had any issues but the battery might have just been in its deep sleep mode and needed the RE-START button to be pressed and held for 5 seconds to wake it up, or it could have maybe failed, we don't know at this point, but it seems to late to say, just call us and we would have warrantied it if it was broken .This is really unfortunate.

For anyone else if you have any issues with our products just call us, we'll make it right. And don't give up the battery, they are not prone to failure and it could be something minor or at the least we just swap it out under warranty.

The restart feature did save me once when I had an overheating issue on my home from work where my car had to be restarted 3-4 times. On the 4 time I lost all power to the battery and used the restart feature to get me back home.

The whole experience this weekend left me pretty pissed off. Imagine being stuck in the left turn lane on a 1 lane road with zero power not being able to turn on the flashers. Trying to get out the car and to avoid being hit by oncoming traffic from the opposite direction. Not the most pleasant experience.

Yikes! That sounds scary. Good thing the GT4 is a fairly light car
