Spring time GT4 Pricing help
I need to thin the Porsche herd due to a move to a smaller garage. I have a 2016 GT4 in GT silver with 3600 miles
Ceramics
Sport Chrono
tons of alcantara and carbon fiber
no LWBs unfortunately
CPO
Tire and Wheel insurance transferable
full 3M
Sticker was $117K
No overrevs
No track time (stupid job)
Dealer is offering $97K so I am just wondering how much I am leaving on the table before I sell it to them. I understand they need to make a buck on it and I am fine taking a haircut for the ease of sale, but I just don't follow the pricing on GT4s as much as air cooled 911s so any help is appreciated.

Beautiful! I love GT Silver with PCBs. It seems like a high msrp without LWBs. I would post the window sticker as it must be loaded up with options. I’d like to think you’d be able to get $105K at the very least. I would certainly try private sale first. Good luck!

Assume you are the second owner? 20k would be a pretty tight haircut. How much do you value ease of selling and timing? 97 seems low to me but dealers seem to be able to command higher numbers than private party sales. I would put it up for a few k back of MSRP and see if there is interest.

For a drivers car 18 ways are better than LWB's so I don't think that will hurt value that much for cars with miles. Garage queens that are to some " collectible " may need the LWB's way down the road for their "racing" appeal.
All depends on buyer. All types walk into Porsche stores.

I like to work the deal backward to see what the dealer can get it for and still make a decent profit. It can sell for 110k-117k depending if they CPO it. So, I think they could or should go as high as 103k or so to make it worthwhile for them.

Asking prices seem to be $5k to $10k under MSRP. Actual selling prices, who knows.
$97k isn't horrible if you get sales tax credit. Otherwise, not great. You are leaving about $10k on the table, so you need to weigh the hassle of tire kickers, etc. vs the extra money.
Maybe the dealer can do like Emeril and kick it up a notch!

You should try and post the window sticker, or the VIN so that all of your options can be looked up.
Best of Luck on your Sale!
EDIT: We have nearly the same build, except you have the door-sill guards in carbon fiber illuminated, instrument surround in leather, fire extinguisher, alum fuel cap, and wings in black.
That's a very nice build! An MSRP of $114,250 sounds right.
I would agree that the lack of LWB's shouldnt be a deal breaker for a driver's car. With only 3,600 miles I would offer it for sale at $109,000 privately and go from there.
There is no way I would unload this to a dealer at $97,000
PS. There is now a video up (with audio) of a 718 Spyder test mule that is clearly a Turbo-engined car. That will make your GT4 that much sought after!

You may need to hold off on your sale since the 981 GT4 prices may go up again since the possibility of the 718 GT4 being FI with this new video of the 718 spyder exhaust sound.

I agree $97k is too low. Of course they'll turn around and sell for $110. I'm wondering that your MSRP is incorrectly high especially without the LWBS, unless you're somehow rolling the CPO and Tire protection prices in there, which doesn't really count.
