Default Cup style

TPC just shipped me this kit to run the GT3 center muffler cup style with just the lower chamber, I’ll report back on how loud it’ll be...

Here's a video... I've heard it in person a few times and it's still pretty damn loud

I've got at least 2 more weeks before my conversion kit is ready to ship.

Me too, dropped the car off at the shop today only to find there's a 3 week lead time. Hoping there's time to get it installed & tuned before smokies....

Just installed the tpc kit, some of the bolts/nuts for the bracket weren’t playing nicely so I had to get a different set of bolts to mount the bracket to the exhaust. Make sure you guys have the oem gt3 bracket because that’s needed to mount the exhaust to the tpc bracket. Driver side elbow pipe slid right in, passenger side needed a lot of persuasion to get the elbow to slide over the mid pipe end.

If you have a vorsteiner diffuser, you will have fitment issues, the bottom of the muffler is touching the diffuser. I will probably have to cut a bit of the diffuser out.

This is the valveless cupstyle version that only uses the lower chambers similar to the spmotorsports gt4 in the video above. On cold startup, it’s LOUD. Haven’t driven yet so will come back with impressions.

Can you show how much of the diffuser you trimmed? I just got the diffuser installed last weekend!

Haven’t cut anything on it yet, don’t have a cutting tool. Will probably just see if it melts off!? Its probably 1x5 inches on each side of cutting to have it all clear.

how heat resistance is carbon fiber? I’m not too worried about it because my diffuser is already beat up from track use.

If you don't mind...how much $$$ is the valveless kit, no muffler?

Driving impressions: LOUD. Downshifts are LOUD. WOT is down right scary LOUD.

Sounds like a race car, sounds like a cup car. Has that throaty high note sound when in the upper revs. If cruising, 4/5th gear provide no drone. Other gears there’s drone with light throttle

for the lack of my own videos, I believe it’s like a mini version of this, but more rough and low end notes added in, a little bit less high notes due to not being able to rev to 9k

Will probably get the valves eventually.

Nice...well, I always open up the valves anyways, so I guess I'll be loud EVERYWHERE!
