Hi!

I have been an avid reader on Rennlist but I had to finally register to reply to this thread since I am the GT4 owner in that video.

Great cars. Good video. I may have missed "the epic battle".

Hahaha I know.

I think the video creator tried to make a "catchy" title...

I don't think I'd want myself documented being over the double yellow. It makes it a bit more interesting staying in your own lane.

Yeah I noticed I went over a couple times. I am kind of bummed about it because I am always paying attention to that. I drive there and around a lot.

If i could take it back, I would truthfully.

Not my video sadly.

I will use this as a way to improve myself. I will from now on be extra careful about that!

That looks like a great road to drive in a GT4. Have fun.

Thanks Alan! It is. This region is packed with amazing roads like that. If you ever come in Southern California, feel free to message me, I will tell you where to go!

Refreshing response. Most people who get chided about crossing the DY get really defensive and talk about how it was safe, sight lines, etc.

Yeah, you should have seen me when I saw the video last night. I was truly down.

I have a lot of respect for that basic rule and was really mad at myself for thinking I was in my lane and realizing that it was not truly always the case.

You live to learn and so I did!

Nice video, always fun cruising the Socal canyons

But be cautious driving in those canyons in the near future. CHP had a zero tolerance day last Sunday, including undercover cars. Heard the towed away and impounded a few cars and some bikes. Handed out exhibition of speed tickets I believe.

Yeah watch that yellow line, people are sticklers there about it, as are the cops. For good reason.

Here is one of the first videos I took in my GT4, this time with a BMW. Picture quality is terrible though but you should still recognize the location.

So I heard! I feel lucky to have witnessed my mistake on video and not with getting my baby towed away.

Hey, at least you owned up to it, and we’ll cut you some slack on the one going around the biker! The GT3 driver was no better if not worse. 4:09 was horrendous.
