Default Carbon Fiber GT3RS Style Fenders for 981 GT4

RL,
We have been working on these fenders for quite some time with our Carbon partner and they are finally ready for release, the results are nothing short of amazing. They are constructed of Motorsports grade Carbon Fiber and are a direct fender replacement for your stock application. The RS style vents are available in Satin or Gloss finishes. We look forward to helping you with all of your carbon needs.

Here is link to another post with photos of the installation process ( Enjoy )

I really love the look. How close to OEM fit and finish? Any idea what a reputable body shop would charge to install and paint?

The Fit and Finish is OEM Quality and is a one to one replacement for the factory fender. I would assume that a bodyshop would charge between $700-$800 for the paint and 5-6 Hours for installation. The most time consuming part is timing the inner fender liner around the vent in order to make them functional to dump the air.

Looks great - people should be aware before purchasing that you'll have to blend the hood, bumper, and doors if you have anything but black or white paint. I'm sure you can find a shop that will paint and hang the fenders without blending but it's not going to match 100%. Probably a $5k job, easily.

Thanks for the kind words. I would disagree with your statement about blending the hood. We had our local body shop make a few spray out cards and got the car spot on with the factory paint without painting any other panels.

Id disagree as well. My local painter/body shop matched my paint on our front bumper of our 991 GTS perfectly.

Same for my high-end Porsche-certified collision center; after a low-speed impact took out the rear bumper and wing, no blending was necessary.

Standard procedure for panel replacements is to blend all adjacent panels except in the case of plain white and black paints. Metallic's are near impossible to match without blending - there's just too many variables. That yellow does not appear to have any flake which makes matching much easier. The fenders look awesome though.

Unfortunately the rules does not allow us to run these fenders. For 2018 Porsche had a lightweight body kit homologated from Mathey Racing and you will see all of the MR's running that carbon body work in CTSCC and PWC.

Consists of:
Carbon Front Bumper
Carbon Rear Bumper
Carbon Fender set with new lighting package.
