I wound up buying the exhaust, so that's prob why it is no longer on eBay. Will hopefully be delivered today!

This is a cursed exhaust system.

1. Your wife will divorce you.
2. Your kids will go deaf and end up behind in school and go to community college for graphic design.

consider it a blessing

I can't wait to find out if these things are true. I apologize in advance to my children.

Could the GT4 ever sound like one of those GT3 cup cars with straight pipes? Man, those things are LOUD! I love it though...

Well, to update the thread...user1029 was right. The thing is LOUD. My wife is semi-accepting of it, but I've actually decided to go a different route. The cursed Fabspeed Competition Exhaust will probably be posted for sale within the next month.

Do you have OEM headers/cat on there with the competition exhaust? How much time did it take to remove OEM exhaust and install new one?

Yeah, I have oem headers with cats. It took about 3 hours total. Hardest part was getting the old exhaust off. I tried to remove it in one piece, and that was incredibly difficult. Once I disassembled it into separate sections, it was a breeze.

Thanks. I recall someone posting a thread a while back asking how to remove the exhaust in one (or two) piece(s), and they figured out they had to break it down farther.

With all the miles you have added (or will add) on top of the 20 they had before, the depreciation will be steep. If you get desperate to sell, I may be interested.

Yeah, that was my thread trying to figure out how to remove it.

I'll let you know once it comes off the car. I'm going to list it at a very reasonable price and might include some unused Fabspeed turndown tips as well.

lol.

Is this obnoxious even at low rpms?

On on street I can manage to keep under 4K rpm just driving back and forth to track with my race headers with no issue.

No, it's not bad at low rpms. I actually love the sound. It's throaty at lower rpms, and above 3500-4000, it roars. I decided to add headers though, and it's definitely going to be too loud when combined.

Here's a text from my wife last weekend when I left home for a DE event. Joe is my next door neighbor. ;-)
