Telephone module Telephone module with Bluetooth headset
When I purchased my GT4 as a pre-owned car it had the above mentioned options. In the console is a black Porsche phone that looks like a relic. Okay iPhone, Galaxy, LG, Motorolla, etc have been around for 10+ years & the GT4 is a 2016?
My iPhone connects seamlessly via bluetooth through the PCM. Is there any reason for holding onto the black antique other than maybe making emergency call (which I don't even know if it works)? The thing would likely require a separate SIM card/plan.
I could use the extra space in the console.

Short answer: No,
Somebody got tricked when ordering, it was a poorly titled option.
The SA had to explain it to me to as the wording made it seem the option was required to enable bluetooth but s actually a separate hardware phone, still popular in Europe I guess?
