Default Salter Aero Uprights on GT4

I recently purchased my Gt4 about 3 weeks ago and absolutely love it! This is my third Porsche and my favorite of course. My first one was a 997.1 Carrera S and second was the 981 Cayman S.

After seeing pictures of the GT4 with the Salter Aero uprights, I knew i had to have them haha. I pulled the trigger and I am very happy with the results!

They look good on a white car. Congratulations on the GT4.

Salter aero makes a quality product and it's great to get some use out of the rear view mirror with them.

love the look of the salters.

but i wonder, does the wing now generate more downforce or downforce at a slower speed now that it is in cleaner air?

Need to install my set. I'll do it when I finally get my set of FI-R (again)...

I recently installed the Fabspeed uprights on my car. At first I just installed the uprights and I noticed an increased stability in high speed corners but I did notice even more push than usual in low speed corners. The one track I did like this I was well off my PB lap times.

I then installed a set of the RSS canards and this balanced the car back out again.

The only track I have done with both of these mods installed to date was Bathurst. With these mods installed I was nearly 1s faster in the middle flowing segment across the top of the mountain, but I was 8km/hr slower up and down the hill.

The net result for me was my previous fastest time was a 2.25.4 and after the mods I did a 2.25.5. But with more laps I think I could go a bit quicker with the added aero.

So I think at some tracks the mods will result in a marginal net faster lap time - especially where ultra high speeds won't be influenced by the extra drag. But the car definitely does feel more stable with them on and I won't be taking them off.
