I am confused here but the GT4 had a valved OEM exhaust right to begin with right ?

Yes the OEM system is valved. Our system is higher flowing than the OEM exhaust but we're using a lot of sound absorbing material to prevent droning - especially with catless headers. We've seen other designs that really choke down the system with valves closed and don't adequately concentrate on combating drone, so that's where our system comes into play. Our competition might be slightly lighter and slightly louder, but we've been switching out customers who've had other exhausts to give their ears some respite from drone (as featured above).
