When will the 4.5L conversion and GT3 IM come out?

4.5L pistons and rods are finally inbound. We tested the GT3 intake manifold and not so good on the stock engine, took all the torque away. We're working on something bolt on that will be better!

Interesting, thanks for doing that testing and excited to hear that you're working on something better! I was pretty excited to hear about the GT3 intake development but after overlaying a GT3rs dyno over my GT4 dyno I was concerned about just that, the GT3 really seemed to give up low end torque in favor of keeping a decent top end. Fine I suppose if you can spin 9k rpm with gearing to match but maybe suboptimal for a bolt on GT4 build. I bet the increased mid range new 991.2 GT3 owners are raving about is as much to do with the intake revisions as the displacement bump.

Thanks for the discount! Have you guys tested the quiet GT3 exhaust on the GT4 yet? I want to pass sound next year with my DMS headers

This is exactly the issue the with the GT3 manifold, it's actually too big. We'll test it again on the 4.5L. And we may look at it with our stand alone engine management as we get around all the torque limiters etc... And you're not wrong about the 991.2 GT3. The solid lifters help as they can get the valves off the seats a little quicker, so that helps too...

The quiet GT3 muffler on a GT4 we expect to do the same as it does on the 991 GT3, take away 10-12dB. Now the GT4 is mighty with race headers on it, so it depends on the club and the limits. May need to do Cats and Quiet muffler to reel her in...

Designing the plenum to go with it, coming along well. All the parts must work together!
