718 GT4?

Yep! I bet they use the natural fiber stuff from the clubsport. If all the suggested numbers are correct it could be the most sought after Porsche’s in a while if they keep the build numbers in 911R territory or 4.0RS.

I'm guessing with 718 Cayman/Boxster volume slumping, Porsche will be pumping out the Spyder/GT4 in high volume. I have two deposits at my dealer and they were pushing me to take an open allocation late in 2018 for a GT3... if you wanted a GT3 build slot, they were somewhat easy to find at MSRP.

I for one had an impossible time finding a gt3 build slot at MSRP and I started 16 months before the car was announced. It all boiled down to the original dealer and then it left me trying to scramble but still I couldn't find a slot for MSRP in Northeast.

Look at how many 991.2 GT3 and RS cars are getting pumped out. Assume 718 GT4 volume will be even higher, not saying it'll be easy but if folks are patient we should be able to avoid all the bs adm nonsense,

Hope you're right about the high volume!

I think it pretty much means nothing.... until they know what their allocation is going to be.
Then comes the ADM game vs what will most likely be a softer economy in the 11th largest economic country in the world.... the Bay Area.
If it wasnt for a rich guy in Los Altos that was running out of garage space, I probably would have never been able to buy a low mileage CPO GT4 for a touch less than MSRP.
Talk about first world problems.

I didn't buy into the hype. Took my business else where. On a few list in CA and out of state.

I'm paying MSRP, but no ADM.
