Yeah I’m digging the look too. Especially the front. And the wing. Looks awesome to my eyes.

Too much Belgium chocolate.

With gear change points for the 981 GT4(2-3-4) as dots superimposed on the 718GT4 CS torque and HP curve - 991.2 GT3 and 981 GT4 shown for reference

Now if they released the street car in that wrap, I'd need to get those matching pants, ha ha ha.

the street 718 GT4 will be NA.
Porsche might have something special for it or a RS version. But too early too tell

To rich for my blood, the GT3 touring...

If that so called Cayman T with GT4 rear diffuser and exhausts we saw spy pics from recently but clearly is anything but a T is not a touring version of the GT4, then what was that?

Default 718

My guess is that it’s a 718 R model.

Regarding the GT4, if the above article is anything to go by.. 4.0l GT3 case with differing cheaper internals, (in line with its own special engine rumour) that way the engine doesn’t hit close to the GT3 in terms of hp plus allowing Porsche to price the 718 GT4 accordingly, this would also make it hard to just easily and cheaply mod the car so to have a GT4 at the same level as the GT3.

What would be crazy is if it’s some sort of hybrid, highly unlikely tho.

Could we also get the same treatment as the .2 GT3 with a touring version being manual and the winged version PDK only? This would bring the vehicle model range inline with the 911 bar the C4 C4S and turbo models. 718 718S 718T 718GTS 718 GT4 Touring (MT) and 718 GT4 (PDK only)

Maybe, but as the 991.1 R and 991.2 GT3 touring are basically the same concept, I wouldn't care if the thing is called R or GT4 touring, as long as it has a big flat six with manual gearbox, rear wing delete and leather interior...

If they don’t make a touring just take the wing off - fill the holes and order CXX interior in leather.

In terms of R, I was thinking more of a 987 R. Not as fancy as a GT4 but a cheaper alternative, justifies a price range for the R inline with the 981 GT4.allowing Porsche to price a proper .2 GT3 engined GT4 at a higher price range if the GT4 does indeed have a 4.0l .2 GT3 motor.

I think many on here have already said a 4RS will not get the full 4.0 from the GT3. That would impede on the GT3. Even as an RS model that would be a no no. From what I’ve gathered the RS would get a nominal hp bump (10-20hp 4.0 but not GT3 4.0), fancy aero, lightweight parts and PDK. Similar to other RS lines. The cayman with a 500HP 4.0 is a unicorn that only will exist at Weissach R&D IMO.
