718 GT4?

So those have an effect on aero, but an entirely different motor doesn't? So, again, they'd go through the trouble of doing all of that to the car, including designing a different exhaust and then they'd bolt it to a 4 cylinder engine. Sounds totally likely to me...

Back on topic, what that pic is showing me is the same thing that the Spyder spy pic did. That the rear end of the 718 does not work well with the other rear styling elements that were on the 981 GT4 and Spyder. The wing looks wacky above that 718 rear end, and the Spyder's streamliners look really odd relative to the 718's redesigned haunches and rear end. They both look too busy and the proportions look off. Gonna take Porsche some work to redesign them to make them look good with the 718 styling cues.

Flat bottom... just sayin
Anyways, I could not care less what motor is in it.. the point is you do not build a GT4 prototype in 2015 while production is in full swing. It is clear as day this is a 718 test car...

I love how people keep assuming it's 'just sitting on the road', as if it's just parked in town somewhere. Does anyone else notice that every single car parked around it is a Porsche, new models at that? The pic is likely on or right around a Porsche campus.
