they can do whatever you want, but both red and silver cars had orange US spec lights and GPF. Posted the pic above.

Was the GPF specially shown and addressed on the NY Auto Show? German forum members claim, that the shown car did not have the GPF as it is not in the US spec for the Speedster...
Any evidence photos of the GPF in NY ?
The rumor on our side of the Atlantic is that the European Spec of the Speedster will be further delayed because of the still not fully solved issues with the GPF on the GT3 engine...
Just curious...

Here's the picture -- what is the huge GPF? Not sure what I'm looking for.

if you look at the diagrams posted by blipit of the 992 engine in conjunction, it will make more sense. The two large things flanking the center muffler.

The particulate filter is the back half of the catalyst, an area which can't be seen in that Speedster picture.

Thanks for reposting!
Would be great to see the exhaust system of a "normal" GT3RS in comparsion...;-) GPF should be close to the catalyst (as mentioned by d00d)...

On the 992, the GPF are closest to the center muffler.

GT3RS looks completely different, and the cats are on the headers. Which I’m sure the speedster follows. You can barely see the huge opening in the speedster GPF, looks just like the one in the 992 diagram to me.

Right, but I can only see a heat shield covering the connecting pipes to the center muffler.

well, you said the GPF were behind of the cats, which those aren’t. And not 100% sure, but I can’t recall any GT cars or 911s with ‘heat shielding’ on the exhaust like that. Pipes have had shielding, but haven’t seen cats or mufflers have any shielding. So they are either Side mufflers or GPF to me. Which, they don’t look like the GT3RS side mufflers to me.
