And me as well. And low end torque is simply wasted on me as I enjoy using much more of the motor than off idle.

Could this be delaying a bit the launch? Doesn't sound major but maybe for those cars still under production they are making more changes.

No, I think the strut tower blows out first to relieve stress and not puncture the fuel tank. See, it was a safety feature all along!

Ahhh, good theory as to what the hold up with the GT4 announcement might be.

Interesting. I thought the frame was a carryover from the 981.

They are.....the unibody is still the same. It looks like they changed or added a beam that maybe the 981 doesn't have or is different. Would like to know exactly which part they are talking about.

Clubsport, but love these pictures

First pics of clubsport with no camo.

I really hope the GT4 looks the same with same wing ! I know I'm a broken record with the wing but I love it!

Haha, id like Miami blue!!

I'm so excited for this car and to own a Porsche. I've owned a wrx sti as my daily driver for the past 13 years and check this thread all the time! Loved the cayman when I drove one at lime rock.

Very interesting. Might be a dumb question but do they make the GT4s on the same line as the regular caymans?

Yes, they even make the Cup cars on the same lines as plain 911s. During the factory tour they said this is so that each assembly line employee remains engaged in what they are building, as you never know what is coming next. It also contributes to their ~97% retention rate, as you tend to have strong brand loyalty when watching a race on Sunday, as you think to yourself "I assembled part of that!"
