I wouldn't put too much faith in this article . Still a lot of rumors I think. The only thing I'd put faith in is the horsepower number being xkose. No way the gt4 will cost aroind 117k. Also I think it's a repeat of the motor1 article

I was focused mostly on Goodwood in July... hoping they are wrong and that it will be Geneva...

I could be wrong but didn't cj post on the 718 forum when the clubsport was relewsed that there would be a press embargo until Geneva ? Which would imply its coming there?

This is accurate - things can change however, but until I see it posted by a select few on here I’ll stick with Geneva.

May as well stir the pot. The dealer with whom I have a deposit sent me the following:

From Rennteam a poster from Europe has an invitation to
geneva and it says 992 and 1 world premier
Hoping the world premier is the gt4. The speedster wouldn't be considered a world premier since they showed a close concept?

Maybe the Taycan. Hope not.
But the fact that CAR UK writes it will be 3,8L has me doubting my salesperson's claim it will be a 4,0L though. Maybe only the RS will get the 4,0?

Part of me thinks that they want more room for the Cayman and Boxster T and will actually debut the GT4 and Spyder later as the articles suggest. There is no rush and especially knowing that there is a few more years left for the 718/982 as they are separating the 911/Boxster-Cayman more from a product launch standpoint. Previously they were pretty synced up. The 983 is ways off! Knowing how small 982 numbers are they will be milking it as long as possible before investing more... Next version (983) might even be the rumored joint platform with Audi (ashamed to even type it). I hope the rumors of the next gen or gen after Boxster/Cayman separating from the 911 are false. Corporate politics... yeah!

At the point I’ve accepted the new GT4 will never be released. I’m guessing speedster in Geneva along with the 992.
