d00d thx for the explanation.
I'd even prefer it if they offered manual-only (no motors) Sport Seats Plus as an option, without the back-rest adjusting motors -- with just a springed lever instead. Don't mind using my stomach/back muscles to lean against the back-rest and adjust it to where I want it to be. I bet those would be very close in weight with the LWBS, if not equal (or even lighter).

The 991 launched in Frankfurt in September 2011 and debuted in Los Angeles a couple of months later. The 992 launched in LA and debuts in Geneva.
I expect Porsche would want to gain maximum exposure for their new top of the line 992 model to European audiences despite the fact that they have been available to order since December. Expect Porsche to focus on 992 and the electric future at Geneva.

What's left to "expose"? We learned all the static info during the LA "launch", we have been served dozens of written and filmed drive reports from Hockenheim, Valencia and surrounding roads. I have sat in one in Brussels. Tell me!

Ah you've gone all semantic on me, cool! 😎 You are correct, it was not the 992 debut, but the "European Premiere" (their words) during the Brussels "Autosalon", so please forgive me.

Those seats are indeed VERY VERY GOOD ! But I think maybe they can still be bought via carnewal, check with them, maybe you can swap the sofas out for the amazing folding buckets ?!

All the reliable sources on rennlist have pointed towards a Geneva launch. It would not make sense if porsche delayed it beyond that especially since the clubsport has already been announced.

It has better be out in geneva. someone said Porsches marketing plan saying goodwood reveal on pistonheads.not sure if it's an internal memo? I trust Geneva as our rennlist sources..

For most people here, it's the sooner the better. For me it's the opposite. Longer period of time to save, bigger deposit, smaller finance.
But, while I would prefer a Goodwood launch, I think it will be shown at Geneva.
In fact, thinking out loud...maybe...GT4 at Geneva...GT4RS at Goodwood...
I want to believe...

IHMO I think the GT3 Speedster is the next debut. They need to get that out before the factory goes full 992. Could be wrong though.

d00d thx for the explanation.

Don't mind using my stomach/back muscles to lean against the back-rest and adjust it to where I want it to be. I bet those would be very close in weight with the LWBS, if not equal (or even lighter).
