Don't worry about it...................

Ok - are you saying the improvements plus additional HP have made no difference?
Im not saying the new cars additional power and aero have made no difference, however I am stating that the tire is certainly a big cause of the improvement to lap times.
If this is the case your logs will show that longitudinal and lateral gs are significantly higher for this years CS relative to last years due to the change in tires.
As i said above, the tire has a lot to do with the improvement of lap time but there are other details to the whole picture.
It would be great if you could do a plot of this years and last years friction circles for DIR
Once we prep all the cars for our next event and get through the race weekend at Daytona I will be happy to allocate the time to make you a pretty graph, that's not a problem. Cheers mate

Burning Brakes
I digress from the recent discussions . I'd really like to see Lizard green as an offered color. That's not unreasonable if the non-gt 992 has it optional? Id otherwise love myself a Miami blue 718 gt4!

Hear!!! Hear!!!
I'd like to see them offer 5 Historic Colors (fill in the blank) My choices would be Signal Yellow (code 114), Signal Green (code W25), Bahama Blue (code 354), Gelbgrun (Yellow Green, code 137) or Birch Green (Light Green, code 253), Aubergine (something similar to code 025), 5 Regular Colors (Guards Red, Black, White, Yellow and one new "free" color specific to the GT4 a la Lizard Green), 5 Metallic Colors (Silver, Grey, Green, Red, Blue) and 5 Premium Colors (Miami Blue, Lizard Green, Gulf Orange, Dark Red Metallic (a la Arena Red only darker and less gold) or Carmine Red, some bright new color).
Pricing:
Regular colors are free
Metallic colors are + $750
Historic colors are + $1500
Premium colors are + $3000
think the argument could be made that Historic/Premium should all be + $1500 but don't think Porsche would ever buy into this proposition
not a big fan of the dull colors (sorry if I offend anyone) so don't see any reason why they would offer two whites, two blacks and multiple silvers or 50 shades of grey
strong case could be made for more blues, more reds, more yellows, more oranges, more purples
in deference to Eduardo, I've included multiple greens!

Track Day
What Yellow Submarine said!
The GT4 is a lot less street friendly than the GTS. So if you love your GTS, you probably should stay put and just add power or change the gearing. I've driven my friends 981S several times on and off the track and it is a fine car, but a lot more civil than the GT4. FWIW, the LWB's are the biggest difference, but all the stuff Yellow Submarine pointed out are a factor also. I could drive a 981s or GTS on a daily basis, minus the practicality, but that is not why I got a Cayman. I bought one because it serves a different purpose. It's my track toy and "just for joy vehicle", and for that the GT4 is perfect. I would not enjoy it on a daily basis.
As always, it is about compromises. I used to have one car that served a multi purpose, which M3's are great for, but if you want the best of both worlds, then you need two cars, one for DD and one for fun/track. Otherwise, pick your poison.

The historic collection is a great idea. However, I have a radical pricing plan for other typically standard colours - offer white, silver and black as PTS for 15k, the world will be much brighter and happier for it

The profit margin for special colors and PTS is off the chart and trending higher … all Porsche does to change colors is turn a **** in the paint booth. Ridiculous, but some pay and Porsche laughs all the way to the bank.
