Can we get something out of the way: the reveal Thursday is for the GT4 Clubsport? It has nothing to do with the regular GT4 release.

Correct - however engine specs should be the same.

Exactly. This the only info I care about. Couldn't give a toss about the race car!

Excellent. I'm also very interested in the gear ratios and final reduction (although these may not be the same as the road car)

I'm sure you're going to have a lot of fun 😀

Besides a lot of other tech info that will determine how much of an improvement PAG did, future mods (not just engine) and what can be used from the 981 platform......but of course the major thing is the final engine specs.

What is the reality of the proximity of the CS and the street car? I was of the view same exact engine. Would the regulations technically allow a different engine? What about practicality/logistics/financial rationale?

The published regulations allow a different engine.

I still have hope and a feeling they'll debut the street car along side it.

That would be great....an actual full launch may not happen but PAG may decide to release the street car info this month.....on the 981 everyone had the full details of the street car well in advanced of the official launch at Geneva.

What's your thoughts on why the race car is being released before the road car? It's unusual, isn't it?
