Default Rear Brake Pad Issue

I changed out my track wheels today to street wheels. I usually try to measure brake pad thickness when I do that to try to forecast when I need new pads. The outside LR pad was down to 22% and inside pad was 30%. The RR was 50%. There's two seasons of tracking on these pads but I normally run with nannies off. Anyone else notice this? Torque Vectoring at work?

Sounds like it. Lots of left-hand turns at your track? Or have you been rotating pads?

Similar issues with PCCB's with little mileage so I too think torque vectoring plays a big role in rear brake wear on these cars.

Switched to giro discs a ferodos and at least costs are contained.

What was your ratio of pad wear between front and rear brakes? My original front brake pads are just about done (10% remaining), but the rears still look almost new (80%+). I must not be driving the car as hard as you guys.

I'm planning to change my front brakes to the AP J-hook rotors and Ferodo DS1.11 pads. Wondering if I should leave the rear brakes as is (original), or swap out with Ferodo pads to match the front. Would this be ill-advised?

It looks like 2 sets of fronts to 1 set of rears with the heavy wear on the left rear. I do NOT recommend running stock rear pads with DS1.11 fronts.

I replaced the rear pads today with another set of DS1.11. The RR was not as bad as my "in car" measurement, there was 54% remaining. LR though was 36%. There are 24 track days on these pads, 16 at Watkins Glen which some consider a heavy braking track. Rotors look fine, no cracks or evidence of wear.
