Hello Gentlemen
I acquired a JBM GT4 this past weekend. Booked an one-way train ticket to Bridgeport, CT. Met up with the seller, and drove her 300miles back home to DC-metro.
It was quite a fun and pleasant get-to-know-you drive back. The carbon buckets treated me just fine.
Filling her up on Merrit Pkwy
Crossing the GWB
I'm considering adding 911R-style stripes in guards red. But I purposely went with JBM to stay alittle more subdued this time around.
Will be doing an engine oil change, transaxle fluid change, and front Girodisc rotors shortly.
Also eyeing the BBi taller uprights for the rear wing.
I shall update as upgrade(s) get added and hopefully, some future rally and track pics.

I think 911R Style stripes in GR would look awesome but I kind of laughed when you said you were going to try and be a little more subdued- IMHO there's nothing subdued about a GT4
I would have been nervous as hell crossing the GWB and the Cross Bronx in a GTR - those roads are horrible and the people drive like animals.
Good luck and if you do add the stripes please post some pics.

my past colors have been:
yas marina blue
long beach blue
speed yellow
i think JBM will be a "step" down in terms of flash. though bright colors work so well for Porsche GT cars.
for stripes, thanks to the photos you guys have posted, i am considering guards red in matte finish.

I agree with Jimmy-D. (That could be your mantra. Whenever the urge to stripe her up comes over you, repeat "I agree with Jimmy-D" over and over in a low, somnolent chant until sanity and good taste return! ).
Great looking car. I too took a 200+ mile road trip, to Knoxville in June, to retrieve my GT4, trading in the Carrera I had before. It's a fine way to become one with your new car.
