The PDK would be a wonderful option in the GT4. In autocrosses, the free 2-1 shift and 1-2 return in some corners is the key reason why some GTS's beat GT4s in events where that condition arises.

If my GT4 had been equipped with a PDK, I may not have sold it and kept the BS with PDK. A 981 Spyder with PDK would be the holy grail for me. Having said all that, one potential future path for my BS as it ages and warranty expires is to send it to BGB for a 4.0L conversion. I have X73 installed now, so more push is all I need.

John's 3.8L upgrades caused Porsche to build the GT4 and 981 Spyder.

Therefore John should do a PDK GT4 to force Porsche into PDK for 982 GT4

Just great John thanks. It's being shipped down to Portugal and Spain in a couple of weeks for three track days. First track is Estoril, then Portimao, finishing at Circuito de Jerez.

Thinking about PowerKit for next year..

I kept thinking about it during the RS gearbox conversion and I think it's pretty straightforward.
IfPorsche offered a GT4 inPDK I would not have just bought a '17 GTS PDK. I did go with 5 lug wheels this time...thank goawd! LOL.

The CS is already PDK. Who is to say that the GEN 2 won't have a GT3 scenario pulled on it by PAG by offering both trannys.

That would be a nice option.

Biggest problem that presents for PAG is they now have to figure out how to build 10,000 GT4's to satisfy demand!
