Default Everyone liquidating gt4s?

Is it the 991.2 trade up? Or what's going on seems like there is a lot for sale all the sudden (last few weeks).

It's just like a kid when they get a new toy. They play with it for awhile then want a new toy. Im the same way in the last 6 mo ive bought and traded three drivers a GTI to a Focus RS to a M2 . think the M2 is a keeper. I'm on my second GT4 and forth 981 in less than 3 years. This GT4 is a keeper ...But thats what i always say. Problem i have is I'm into the life is short mode! carl

There is a small handful for sale. Hardly liquidating.

GT4 is a keeper. My 991 GTS may go at some point but not the GT4.

OT: Glad you're liking the M2. I picked one up too as a driver/occasional track alternative to the RS. I'm enjoying it as well. FWIW - I added GC camber plates and Fall Line toe links. Plus more track oriented alignment. Big improvement on rear grip and should reduce tire wear.

one man gathers what another man spills.
considering a used gt4 is almost half price if you score the right price compared to a new gt3, take advantage of it.
gt4 will be the goto track car very soon.

You would need to look at GT4's available spreadsheet to actually see if there are more on the market than usual. People have been saying here periodically since it's been released that there has been an increase in available listings. People tend to notice things and then consider them trends with no real numbers.

Few of my friends have moved on... some have picked up 991.2 Allocations while other's have moved on to other cars.

Personally I still smile every time i get behind the wheel of the GT4 and until that smile goes away i plan on keeping it for awhile... We'll see what happens with the next generation GT4.

There will always be a new car, a better car and the chase will never end. We'll see what happens in the next few years when she's out of warranty.

My car is one that is for sale right now.. reason being is i was mostly using it for track fun and the occasional evening cruise...

I came across a Clubsport MR for a price i was willing to pay. it has advantages for me for the track work. safety, sticky tires etc, etc.

Now, i drove the GT4 last night after not having driven it since i was on the track on 7/2 and it makes me not want to sell it.

could i afford to keep it, probably yes, but i dont need it and can use that cash to keep the CS in tip top shape and do fun things to it. oh and if i do eventually get an opportunity at a GT3.2 maybe i will consider that, but honestly i should replace it with a spyder

Sorry perhaps liquidating was not the right term, I've never stopped to look at the market until now. I remember when i was on the hunt I had a hard time finding one, but that was six months ago. I was considering using my gt4 towards my 991.2 allocation but after finally getting above 5k rpm's after 2k miles and putting the car through it's paces I fell in love with it. I really liked the car when i bought it 5 months ago but now I'm in love!

^ This.

Between the GT4 Database and the GT4s for sale thread, it's clear that a tiny percentage of GT4s are currently for sale—though the individual sales threads, in some cases from very visible RLers—sure can make it look like "a lot of cars."
