Just moved here and would love to make a few local friends. I currently drive my Macan GTS full time. The wife, GT4, and my GTI are in Michigan until after the next Smokies fall drive so I'm having withdrawls :|

Some new car friends/colleagues could never hurt to pass the time.

Welcome to the area. I would suggest heading to ERTC (Exotics at Redmond Town Center) during the next nice Saturday morning. You will meet some of the local Porsche guys as well as other enthusiasts. The last time I was at ERTC this summer there were 4 GT4s and a handful of GT3s.

The local Porsche club (Pacific Northwest Region) is another good alternative. The club is pretty active and has a large membership.

My Porsches are in Spokane for the summer. It is much easier to find deserted windy backroads on the East side of the state

Part of me wants to just ship the cars here now but with fall smokies coming up and a track day back in MI I am kinda wanting to just wait it out

Lena is still back in MI and I am in Seattle alone for a few months. Great way to start being newlyweds lol. I digress; the whole get cars to the west coast is an orchestra to say the least. I fly back to Michigan, we'll drive down in the GT4 for the event, ship the GT4 from Atlanta, I will fly back to WA since I have office obligations the following week. Lena then flys back to MI to load the rest of our stuff and our vw GTI to ship, and then she finally gets on a flight to Seattle. Basically September is going to require lots of patience lol.

We're gonna get a 2nd Saturday of the month get together at the shop as soon as our construction is finished. We're hoping to be finished with construction in August, and maybe the first Dundon and Donuts (working name??) on the 2nd Saturday in Sept...

I like it! Not planning on attending Fall smokies, from what I heard, it's for the OG Smokies attendees, not us new kids...
