Hey, didn't know about it. I just signed up. I haven't tracked the GT4 yet -- just getting used to it. Should be fun!

I signed up for Intermediate 2. Carmine Red.

You're coming from CA? You keep a car here or what's up with that?

Hello North Georgia

Me and my buddy Mike Dunn will look for you, we are also in intermediate 2. Don't rum me over, as it is my first time at Road Atlanta, but will have a coach!

Car came into USA via FL. Taking the long route home to California - Sebring, Road Atlanta, Road America,.... COTA.

Oh, I'll not be running anybody over . Looking to play around with pressures and get a feel for the new car at the limit. I haven't had a mid-engine Porsche since a 2004 Boxster S I sold in 2009 or so, and I last tracked it in 2005, iirc. Been in Carreras and Turbos since then.

So your car is from out of country and you're importing it just now? Have you driven it yet?

Cool! Oh, by the way, I'm only going Sunday -- already had conflicts on Saturday. Will you be there then?

I'd usually go..it's my hometown track. Just Track It puts on a good event. Instead I'm tracking at the Corvette Museum this weekend.

Looking forward to seeing someone hit a lap time under 1:38 at Road Atlanta on an (almost) stock GT4.

I'll be back there with PCA in mid August.

Had a blast! Met UncleJosh and got to see his awesome new Clubsport. Great day at the track for everyone; no crashes, very few offs (I never saw a yellow flag the whole day), everybody's tires heated up very quickly (since it was 96 outside), and enjoyed the spectacle of three -- count 'em, THREE -- Carmine GT4s at the same place, along with an Agate Grey, a white, and the two Clubsports. The place was lousy with them.

But I don't think the 1:38 was in any danger. My PB was a (very unofficial, handheld) 1:41.8 with a clean track.

Was that you in the CS that I was chasing in the red M3 yesterday afternoon? I was trying hard, but didn't quite have enough in the car or driver (more likely).
