GT4s Available for Sale

Think it really depends on the MSRP price of the car to begin with. Low option cars easily go over their MSRP second hand. Even with a decent amount of miles because it is a low cost of entry into the GT4 world. Under a 100k entry point is very appealing for a lot of people.

I think CarAholic is right. A car near $100k MSRP has a much better chance of selling at MSRP or slightly over than say a $118k car. It worked that way when I parted with my near zero optioned 15 GT3 with 12000 miles. I got $1000 more than I paid for it with 12000 miles.

I agree with the above statements, low option cars, especially ones with carbon buckets will hold their value very well around MSRP. When you throw a lot of options on the car, the second hand market isn't willing to pay full price of them.

Not to my knowledge, thats why some ppl pay more and buy from a dealer. It was a factor for me after hearing about the 3rd gear issues. I came from a 997.1 and got tired of hearing/worrying about the IMS crap and wanted this little piece of mind, even though I know the odds just like in the 997.1 are far against it.

I was just poking around the Porsche website for Canada. Interesting, there are 7 x GT4s for sale, 16 x 991 GT3s, and 17 x 991 GT3RSs for sale by dealers in this country. I have my GT4, love it, and no plans on selling, but thought that the number of GT3s and RSs for sale was pretty high.

I got mine in August of 2015 - Leasing was an option - 2 or 3 years, so I expect you will see some leases come back to the dealer starting in July or August as well.

Don't forget ALOT of guys bought these to use in the midterm waiting to see if the GT3 would get a manual, and to get in the good graces of dealers to get an allocation. I believe you will see the market be soft for the next year while the new GT3 is being ordered and delivered.

May also still keep my GT4 because for the very reason I think this car will go down in the Porsche History books as one of the greats
