Three Wheelin'
As a wise man once said, "don't reinvent the (fuchs) wheel".

Porsche has been reinventing/reinterpreting the original Fuchsfelge with greater and lesser success for a long time. The following wheels come to mind, but there are others for sure...
986.1 Boxster S 17s
986.2 2.7 five-spoke 17s
996.2 GT3 & late 996 GT2 18s (+versions for other models)
980 Carrera GT centerlocks
987.1 Cayman S 18s
997.1 GT3 & GT2 19s
997.2 Sport Classic
981.1 Cayman S 19s
991.1 Club Coupe (green)
991.1 Turbo five-lug 20s
991.1 GT3/RS/R 20s
991.1 Club Coupe (blue)
981.1 GT4 20s
I'm sure I am forgetting a bunch...

The "Magnus" wheels appear to be very finish sensitive, and seem to favor smaller diameters and a deeper dish. But I'm told the effect is very different in person.
Curious to see the concave version on a GT4, as it worked pretty well on the 997 GT2—though I wonder if that was the gold talking.

I go back and forth on some of the wheels above—some are really cool, others don't work all that well for me. Some look good as rear wheels, less so as fronts—and even vice versa in the case of the 996.2 GT3-style wheel for the 996 Turbo and C4S. Ever notice how it's never just the design in plan view? Amount of metal, geometry, offset, surface treatment, hardware, and even the center cap and the way it works can make or break a wheel? Even tires can had an effect...those early Fuchs look great to me on the right 185/70s or fatter tires, but some look like hubcaps on 165s or the wrong 185s. Then again, I'm coming back around to the 1967 911S on 4.5s and 165s if it's a bit low. I must be getting old.
And then there is personal taste...

The Harlequin edition is a third generation 1996 Golf, 264 made and only for the US.
I had a black 1992 with factory unlimited mileage and time warranty, ran it for a quarter million miles, repairs would have cost me more than the car (CV joints mostly).

These wheels make some sense on an aircooled
20s in this style on a modern car looks awkward.
